To Link Accounts:
Go to the "Accounts" page in the Social Tip app
Select the platform you want to link (Instagram or TikTok)
Click "Add account"
Follow the in-app steps and log in via the pop-up browser to authorize the connection
For Instagram, if you have a personal account (private or public), this will require you to:
DM 'Hello' to @socialtiphq
We will send a verification link in response
Follow this link back to the app to link your account
If you have a private account, Social Tip will send you a follow request
To Unlink Accounts:
Go to the "Accounts" page
Find the account you want to remove
Select the account you want to unlink by clicking on it
You will then see a button that says "unlink" - click that to unlink your account
You can link both Instagram and TikTok accounts to maximise your earning opportunities across platforms. Linking the same account on both Instagram and TikTok is absolutely fine.
Linking more than one account on the same platform
You can link more than one account on the same platform, as long as each one is entirely different in nature. For example, a lifestyle Instagram account and a separate Instagram account dedicated to your dog.
From 1 October 2026, backup accounts, duplicate accounts and accounts of the same nature (such as two lifestyle accounts) can't be linked on the same platform. These accounts won't be able to earn rewards and will need to be unlinked and deleted from your Social Tip account. Read more: Linking multiple social accounts
To link a second TikTok account (only if it's entirely different in nature from your first):
Log out of TikTok in your web browser. This ensures Social Tip connects to the desired TikTok account.
Remain logged in to the TikTok mobile app to keep your drafts and personalised settings intact.
Ensure you are logged into the TikTok account you would like to link to Social Tip, on TikTok.
During the linking process, log in to the new TikTok account using your browser.
