Why did my post get £1 or £2, even with high views

Explains why posts of a certain quality receive a capped reward regardless of how many views or how much engagement they get.

If your post received a reward of £1 or £2, this may be because the post falls into a capped reward tier based on its quality.

Rewards aren't based on views or engagement alone. We also assess the overall quality of each post, and posts of a certain quality are capped at £1 or £2 — no matter how high the views, likes, or shares are. A post can perform really well and still receive a capped reward if it sits in this tier.

This is expected behaviour, not an error. If your post received £1 or £2 despite strong engagement, this is why.

How to improve your reward potential:

  • Look at some of our best-performing posts for inspiration on what tends to reward well.

  • Post your content to Instagram as well.

  • Aim to get featured in the app's Featured Posts.

  • Use Content Coach in the app before you post — it gives you feedback to help improve quality ahead of time.
