Why was my original media rejected?

The original media should be the raw file/asset you created for the brand.

When a brand requests your original media, it's important to submit the right type of content. Submissions that don't meet the requirements will be rejected.

What to submit

Send your final edited photo or video — the actual media file you posted on Instagram or TikTok.

Common reasons for rejection

  • Screenshots — Don't screenshot your post from the app. Submit the original file instead.

  • Text overlays or captions — The media should be clean, without any on-screen text.

  • Filters, effects, or stickers — Visual additions applied within a social app should be removed before exporting.

  • Background music or audio effects — Submit the video with its original audio only.

  • Watermarks — Files with the Instagram or TikTok logo or watermark will not be accepted.
